In this section I'll try to keep people updated as to latest news about what I've been doing with photography. I was published for the first time in Eastern Fly Fishing magazine in the Summer '06 edition for a trout fly that I created and tied called "Rob's Crayfish". There were photos and tying instructions in the magazine article which was pretty cool! I photographed the flooding in Pottstown in June '06 which was the highest I've ever seen the Schuylkill River in 30 years of living in Pottstown. One of those photos was on AOL Citizen News. I have a presentation of photos on Photo.net called "Guesswork". It's a portfolio of photos that I took using an old Rangefinder camera that a friend of mine found in his attic while cleaning. The camera's meter no longer works. I bought the camera for 10 dollars and use it with Kodak Tri X film which has a latitude of 9 stops and I try to guess the exposures. It's fun and challenging and forces me to pay attention to lighting details. I am considering shooting limited edition signed and numbered fine art prints. This is something I've thought about for a long time. I may be looking for reps and galleries interested in this type of work in the near future. I'm also looking for Stock agencies that might be interested in working with me.
6/7/07 - I photographed the Britny Fox show at Crocodile Rock in Allentown. They sounded great! Be sure to check out the photos in my gallery.
7/15/07 - I uploaded the rest of the Blue Fog photos today.
8/20/07 - I shot a 4 alarm fire in Pottstown at Innovative Machining Technologies on 821 Cross st.
9/8/07 - Landsdale Bike Night was a blast as usual. Lots of great bikes and bands. I managed to shoot 4 bands. American Sugar Bitch, Nazz, Indecision and Krysis. You can check it out in my gallery. 3/08 I uploaded 65 new "Graffiti on Trains" photos.
8/08 I uploaded several new galleries this month. I shot the fireworks at Manatawny Park in Pottstown and was invited by the crew that set them off to get a few close up photos. Check out Pottstown Fireworks '08 for that. I also uploaded a gallery of photos of a truck that blew up and burned a few blocks from my house. Check out "Truck Fire at Chapel Steel ". Another gallery I just uploaded to day is called "Ilford Pan 50 " I was experimenting with Ilford Pan 50 and shot a Praying Mantis, A Carpenter Bee and some Morning Glories. There's a lot on my calender and several potential new projects. I'm also catching up on scanning rolls of film that have been sitting around for a while. I've been kind of busy.
8/08 - I uploaded another new gallery today. "Musky Tackle". Shot with Ilford Pan 50.
I uploaded a fire that I shot 9/19/08 at 538/540 High st. in Pottstown.
